A bright, creamy avocado dip that's closer to a sauce than a guacamole — Greek yogurt adds tang and keeps it loose enough to spoon or drizzle. The lime, jalapeño, and cumin keep it from tasting flat, and the yogurt adds protein so it's more substantial than most dips. It reportedly holds without browning overnight, which makes it a practical make-ahead option.
Ingredients
- 1 cup greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 avocados
- 1 cup cilantro
- 1 Jalapeño diced
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- Blend everything together in a food processor
Note: make it a day before if needed. It doesn't brown as per the content creator.
Storage
- Up to 2 days refrigerated. Press cling wrap directly onto the surface to slow browning.
Variations
- Milder — Reduce or omit the chilli.
- Chunkier — Mash roughly instead of blending for a guacamole-style texture.
